Legacy

Lessons I'm trying to teach my kids:

There are no free lunches.

Every decision comes with a consequence.

What others think of you, is none of your damn business.

You get as good as you give.

Life is tough, but you are tougher.

Love is not disposable.

Tomorrow is not promised.

Physical labor is good for your body, heart, and soul.

Don't bottle your feelings up, lest you be emotionally constipated.

When it gets too hard to stand and hold your chin up high, get down on your knees and bow your head.

I'm no expert on any of these things, but I'm thankful my parents exemplified most of them.

In a world full of entitled attitudes, work for what you want. Be different. Take pride in a job well done, even if no one is looking.

❤️ Richelle
