Agvocates

What if we celebrated the people and businesses that support agriculture, rather than turning the spotlight on those who don't?

What if we praised businesses like Domino's, and Culver's, and the millions of small-town, locally owned shops, who support agriculture each and every day, rather than bashing the ones that make bad marketing decisions and then try to back track to save face?

What if we commended our local ranchers, and farmers, for providing us with safe, locally grown food, rather than complaining about the price of what is sold in the grocery store-- a price set by foreign packers, who don't care about your child's soccer team or school fundraisers?

It is always easier to complain about the bad stuff, to hop on the hate bandwagon, and shout from the rooftops our disdain for someone who does us wrong- but it feels so much better to give the good guys the spotlight for a change.

Let's sensationalize the positive impact businesses and individuals are having on the Ag community. There is no shortage of good people in the Ag industry. Let's let them know they are appreciated.

It's time for a pandemic of positivity for a change, if you ask me!
