Can't say No...
Today was definitely one of those days I wanted to say no….
No, I don't want to break snow drifts with my mare.
No, I don't want to ride into the wind.
No, I don't want to help push cows up off the creek bottom, and up where the wind is frigid.
No, I don't want to help trail cows down the icy road.
And no, I didn't say no. And I'm pretty glad I wasn't given a choice, it felt good to get outdoors for a while!

But sometimes you don't have a choice. Ranchers can't be fair weather cowboys, sometimes this life means doing sucky jobs in sucky weather.
