A Morning Prayer

Lord, please help me open my heart to new opportunities, and give me courage to chase after them

Let me forgive those who have broken my heart,

And help me move past shattered dreams

Please give me a spirit of hope, and strengthen my faith

Keep one firm hand over my mouth, and one on my shoulder

Lord, may I never take for granted my blessings

And help me slow down and pause, to give thanks

I pray that I do a little better each day

And that I just keep moving forward

Lord, while we both know the road I am on is full of stumbling blocks and dead ends, may I always look to you for guidance, and may You always be my road map and my guiding light

Lord, I have learned that with you, life will still be hard, but not impossible. Thank you for your grace and mercy.
