Stubborn

She's stubborn, with an independent streak a mile wide

She would rather spend time tying to figure out a solution on her own, than ask for help from anyone else

She hates unsolicited advice, because even though most people are well meaning, she's come to realize that they are usually full of shit, and so are their suggestions

She can come across as brash, or intimidating, but mostly she's too worried about her own insecurities to be concerned with anyone else's

It takes her a while to warm up new people, but she melts around puppies, horses, and babies

She's loyal to a fault, honest as the day is long, and smarter than she lets on

She's you, she's me

She's floundering through life like everyone else, in her own stubborn way

Winning, losing, loving and learning along the journey

Every day, becoming a better version of the woman she was the day before
