Love is Worth It

Relationships take a lot of work.

I don't think any relationship is tougher or easier than another, because no two people do anything the same and every single one of us has our own baggage.

Whether it's marriage, parenthood, or just being a good friend, it takes patience, love, and a good sense of humor to make it work.

Not all relationships are meant to work out. Sometimes people come into our lives for a season, to carry us through or to teach us how to be better. Sometimes people come into our worlds and last a lifetime, and make life worth living. We don't get to choose how things work out, but we can make the best of things while they last.

I'm incredibly thankful for the man God put in my life. We aren't perfect but we are a damn good team. Lucky doesn't even cover it.

Don't be afraid to work at your relationships. The sun doesn't revolve around any of us, and none of us get it right all the time. Have faith, courage, and give as much grace as you can. I think love is worth it.
